The CD-Screen portfolio contains two standard formats using a (4-nitrophenyl)urea selector and a specialized CD-Screen-IEC format for ionic derivatives.
Standard CD-Screen columns
Standard formats are packed with 4-nitrophenylcarbamidesilyl silica gel and use a (4-nitrophenyl)urea selector. Potential analytical areas include parent cyclodextrins, residual parent material in modified derivatives, degradation-related components, statistically substituted derivative distributions and formulation samples.
CD-Screen-IEC
CD-Screen-IEC is the ion-exchange-type option developed for ionic cyclodextrin derivatives. SBECD is a representative application area, subject to complete method development and validation.
Compare the portfolio
| Product | Part Number | Particle Size | Dimensions | Selector / Type | General Positioning |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CD-Screen 5 µm | CDS-2504-05 | 5 µm | 250 × 4 mm | (4-nitrophenyl)urea | Longer conventional analytical format |
| CD-Screen 3 µm | CDS-1504-03 | 3 µm | 150 × 4 mm | (4-nitrophenyl)urea | Shorter bed with smaller particles |
| CD-Screen-IEC | CDS-IEC-1504-03 | 3 µm | 150 × 4 mm | Ion-exchange-type CD-Screen | Ionic cyclodextrin derivatives |
How should I choose?
Selection depends on analyte chemistry, derivative charge, required selectivity, method goals, sample matrix, detector compatibility, analysis time and instrument pressure capability. Use the column selection guide or send your application for a technical discussion.
